Frequently Asked

Everything you need to know about Biewer Terriers, our breeder programme, reservations, and delivery.

What is a Biewer Terrier?+
The Biewer Terrier (pronounced BEE-vair) is a rare toy breed born in Germany in 1984, when Werner and Gertrud Biewer discovered a recessive piebald gene in their Yorkshire Terrier line. The result is a tricolour coat — white, black, and gold — with a silky, hair-like texture. Recognised by the AKC in 2021 and by Germany's VDH in 2024, the Biewer is treasured for its elegant appearance and playful, affectionate temperament.
Are the puppies vaccinated?+
Yes. Every puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and is microchipped. Each puppy goes home with full vaccination records and health documentation.
Do you deliver worldwide?+
Yes. We work with trusted and experienced pet transportation partners to safely deliver puppies directly to your location, with delivery updates throughout the journey. Read more on our Delivery Information page.
How do reservations work?+
Start by completing our Puppy Application and selecting the puppy you are interested in. We personally review each application and reach out to answer your questions. Reservations are confirmed once payment arrangements are completed and documentation is finalised.
Can I receive updated photos and videos?+
Absolutely. We are happy to share updated photos and videos of your chosen puppy so you can watch them grow before they arrive. Keeping families connected during the wait is part of how we work.
How big do Biewer Terriers get?+
Biewer Terriers are a small toy breed — adults typically reach about 3 kg (4-8 lbs) and stand around 8 inches at the withers. Their compact size makes them excellent companions for apartments and larger homes alike.
Are Biewer Terriers hypoallergenic?+
Biewer Terriers have hair rather than fur, and they shed very little — making them a common choice for people with mild allergies. That said, no dog is 100% hypoallergenic. We recommend spending time around the breed before committing if allergies are a concern.
Are they good with children and other pets?+
Yes. Biewer Terriers are known for their friendly, affectionate nature and generally do well with children and other pets when properly introduced. Their playful, happy-go-lucky temperament makes them adaptable family companions.
Do you provide a health guarantee?+
Yes. Each puppy comes with health documentation and a 1-year health guarantee provided in a written agreement at the time of reservation. See our Health Guarantee page for the overview.
What food are the puppies eating?+
Our puppies are on a quality puppy food appropriate for their age and breed. We will let you know exactly what your puppy is eating and provide feeding guidance so you can keep their nutrition consistent during the transition to their new home.
