The Biewer Terrier is a German breed — born in 1984 in the Hunsrück region to Werner and Gertrud Biewer.
What began as two tricolour puppies in a Yorkshire Terrier breeder's kennel became an entirely new breed. Recognised by the AKC in 2021 and by Germany's VDH in May 2024, the Biewer is treasured worldwide for its silky tricolour coat and gentle, playful nature.
At Tierfreundly, we honour that origin by raising each puppy with the patience, knowledge, and attention this rare breed deserves.
